Unofficial Batman Sequel

**SCROLL DOWN FOR MY PERSONAL UNOFFICIAL BATMAN SEQUEL**

So, I've been seeing this "Unofficial" Batman sequel going around about The Court of Owls and Deathstroke. Personally, this would be a terrible direction to go for an immediate sequel. Let me explain.

Let's start with The Court of Owls. As we Batman fans know, The Court of Owls are a secret society rules Gotham City from the shadows. Based on the evidence given in the 2022 Batman film, it's almost certain that they will make an appearance. But bringing to light a group such as that in an immediate sequel is bold, as well as risky. This new Batman series is about corruption in Gotham and the secrets of Wayne family. By bringing in the proverbial "Big Bad" behind the entire city of Gotham sooner, rather than later, you risk the franchise falling shirt of its potential.

Now, onto Deathstroke. In this DC universe Deathstroke would make a terrible character. He has an extensive backstory that doesn't tie in well with the new Batman continuity that we have been introduced to. Deathstroke has no real ties to Gotham other than being hired as a hit-man or trying to settle a score. Yes, Warner Bros. could change the origin of the infamous fan loved character. But doing so would piss a lot of these die hard DC fans off.

In conclusion, by implementing both The Court of Owls and Deathstroke in the same film, one would overshadow the other in terms of plot and story. In fact the entire film would come off as a jumbled mess that would be incredibly hard to follow.

**UNOFFICIAL SEQUEL BELOW**

It's been a year since the Riddler terrorized Gotham. The city is still on edge, as if holding its breath, and waiting for a new wave of chaos to he unleashed. However something new is afoot in Gotham. Bodies of notorious mobsters have been showing up around the city. The underlings lucky enough to survive the attack say it was the Bat, that he's gone rouge. APB has been put out on Batman.

Bruce sits in the Batcave, watching Gordon give an interview. Gordon says that multiple eye witnesses claimed that The Batman is behind the murders of the criminal Gothamites. Bruce is stunned. Immediately he dawns his cape and cowl and begins to investigate.

After hours of watching and waiting, Batman comes across Penguin. He follows, and patiently waits. It was during a drug deal when things began to go awry. A cloaked figure ambushes and begins to rain hell on Penguin and his men. Quickly Batman joins the fight, aiding Penguin. It's then that he gets a clear look at what he was fighting. In was someone dawning a deep violet cloak and hood, their hands were like talons, but what truly amazed him was the face. It was a chrome skull. Obviously a mask.

Penguin and his crew retreat, leaving Batman to fight the assailant alone. They were skilled, he would give them that. But all it took was one wrong move, and Batman was out of the fight. He was badly wounded. The talons has slashed through is armor like melted butter. Bruce could feel the warmth of his blood seeping into his suit. "ALFRED!" He bellows. "Track my location. And take me to Elliot. I need Elliot." Then everything went black.

Bruce wakes up in the hospital with a familiar face looming over him. "Thomas...Thomas Elliot?" He manages to say.

The man smiles. "It's been a long time Bruce. How's my old childhood friend? I haven't seen you since...well since my father passed when we were kids."

A gloomy look fell over Bruce's face. "I'm sorry Thomas. I shouldn't have..."

"The past is in the past Bruce. Let's leave it their." Elliot said.

The two friends began catching up. Thomas had gone to medical school, graduated top of his class and was now the top surgeon in Gotham. And was also recently engaged.

A few days go by and Bruce is released from the hospital. He and Thomas agree to get dinner sometime soon.

On his way out of the hospital he runs into an old flame of his. "Bruce? Bruce Wayne?" She exclaims.

He turns to see her. A woman he was once deeply in love with. Andrea Beaumont.
