Reign Over Me

Adam Sandler plays Charlie Fineman, a man who lost his family in the terrorist attacks of September 11. One day Fineman runs into his old college roomate, Alan Johnson (Don Cheadle) and they begin to rekindle their friendship. Alan himself is feeling the strain of family and professional responsibilities, and his renewed bond with Charlie gives both men the strength to carry on during a turning point in their lives.

Personally I believe Adam Sandler's best over all movie is Reign Over Me. If you haven't seen it, you need to. It will give you a new view of Adam, one you havent seen before. He usually plays the funny guy in every movie he is in but not this one. This movie will have you in tears, not from laughter, but from sadness and compassion. This character is a side of Adam Sandler everyone needs to see. This is how you know he is a phenomenal actor.
