A Madea Family Funeral

The reviews for this movie were ridiculous, and pretty rude. And honestly I think movie reviewers for papers will do anything in their power to hate on something, regardless of how great it came along to the general audience. With that being said, I personally thought it was one of the best Madea films to come out in ages.

Basically, as you can tell from the title, the basis of the film is held at a funeral and after one. The movie began with a happier beginning, an anniversary that had brought them all together in the first place. Before the anniversary shenanigans could begin, the father, passed away in a rather crass way, sending the clan into a whole different form of disarray.

The humor, as per typical a Madea type film, was not for the weak of heart. Some of which could come across offensive, so I personally wouldn't advise you to take your grandparents to this film. Or anyone that is easily offended.

You know when someone dies, all their secrets come pouring out? Well of course, this movie did not shy from that trend. As all his secrets came out, it gave the rest of the family to look over their own lives, their own decisions. Madea came back with her top notch advice, basically pull your sh*t together.

After talking to the two people I had gone with, who had never seen a Madea film, and a fellow blogger, I think I feel pretty confident in my recommendation for you to go watch this film before its out of theatres, or on Redbox. It'll definitely have you laughing, and possibly learning some lessons, if not, you'll laugh so hard that summer body is bound to happen. So what do you have to lose? And when you go see it give us a shoutout!
